The insurance aggregator needed a scalable solution to digitize and process large volumes of physical insurance forms received from multiple providers. Solutions
We developed an in-house AI-powered OCR platform designed to intelligently extract data from scanned insurance forms. The system supports template-based configuration, where each insurance provider's form structure is defined once and reused for automated processing. Multi-page scanned forms are automatically picked up, classified, and processed using OCR and AI-based extraction engines. The extracted data is normalized into a unified format regardless of source form variations. The platform includes validation workflows where agents review extracted data before submission. It integrates directly with the central insurance system, enabling seamless downstream processing. The solution significantly reduced manual intervention while improving consistency and scalability. The architecture also allows rapid onboarding of new insurance provider formats.
