Logistics Licensing Framework
TECHNOLOGY
Major Heavy Fleet Management Provider
Multi-tenant subscriber licensing automation

Objectives
The objective was to develop a robust Subscriber and Licensing Framework for a multi-product Fleet Management SaaS. The client required a configurable system to manage onboarding, license types, access rights, and usage limits. Critical features included support for flexible pricing models, subscriber-specific roles, and license-based feature access, all designed to scale for future products and enterprise subscribers.
Solutions
We developed a centralized multi-tenant licensing framework that enabled complete configuration and management of subscribers, products, services, and licenses. The system allowed administrators to define license types based on configurable parameters such as number of vehicles, transactions, offices, and service access. Subscriber-specific and global roles were supported, ensuring precise access control aligned with business processes. The framework enabled mapping between products, processes, forms, and user roles, ensuring users accessed only authorized functions. Flexible rate configuration supported prepaid, postpaid, and subscription-based billing models. Grace period rules were implemented to control service continuity based on license validity. The platform also supported license upgrades, changes, and read-only access for external stakeholders. Integration support using PUB/SUB architecture enabled seamless data exchange with other platform modules.
